Valley Christian School
(Grades 1 – 12)
VCS provides a dynamic learning environment in which each student progresses at their
own pace through a curriculum that has been specifically tailored to meet their
scholastic needs.
VCS provides a solid grounding in basic reading or arithmetic for some students while
encouraging others to challenge higher literature and advanced science and
mathematics. Most importantly each student receives a thorough grounding in the Bible
and is taught how to appropriately interact with their peers and with adults. Students
and their mentors are reminded constantly to live in such a way as brings glory and
honor to God.
VCS takes its mission and methods from the Word of God. God commanded the
spiritual education of children in Deuteronomy 6:5-7. Jesus made this a part of our
living out the great commission in Matthew 28:18-20.
VCS intends to train children in a knowledge of God's word and prepare them to live in
the world but not "of the world."
